Faith in a Financial Crisis - Signposting Great Resources

I hope you’re finding our latest series, “Faith in a Financial Crisis” helpful at the moment. It’s certainly proving a well-timed focus for us as we face uncertainty around price rises once more.

.

We’ve been learning how God uses money to grow our two-way trust-based relationship with him:

  • Firstly, can we trust God to provide the money we need? Can we have faith in him for finances? Come or tune in this coming Sunday for more on this question.

  • Secondly, will we prove trustworthy in what we do with the money he provides? Will we be faithful with finances? This was our focus for last week’s message

Last week we signposted three practical tools and support that are aimed at people in different circumstances, as we all learn and grow our faithfulness with our finances. In case you missed those, we wanted to share them again here, so you have the links if you want to pursue them:

For Wisdom and Tools in Stewarding Wealth and Growing your Generosity

The team at Stewardship are experts here. They have a number of ways to help people practice generosity, and grow in the gift of giving. This includes some really helpful practical financial tools and solutions. You can check out their website using the link here.

We also mentioned a free offer currently available to update your will with Trinity Life, a firm of solicitors based in Wales, and with no association with Kerith, but who are also passionate about growing generosity in God’s people.

Kerith has benefited greatly over the years from members of our community choosing to leave a financial legacy to the church. Inspired by their example, Ben Oliver shared he has just udpated his will with Trinity Life, for free, and included something for Kerith as part of it.

Note - this free will-writing service is only for basic wills - they will offer all sorts of upgrades (at a cost) if you need anything beyond the standard version. Ben managed to say “no” to all those, but if you are interested in this, please do check you are getting what’s appropriate for your own circumstances and needs, first!
