One week to go! RISE UP Women’s Gathering
This time next Saturday hundreds of women will be in the Kerith Centre worshipping and listening to God’s Word together!
It’s a chance to step away from the normal routine and give Jesus our full attention. For many of us over the years these events have been a key moment in our faith journeys - and this year will be no different as we seek God together!
RISE-UP is this years theme taken from the last verses of Psalm 20, an exaltation to stand firm and put your trust in God!
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.”
Psalms 20:7-8 NIVUK
Our Site Pastor Beccy Oliver will be speaking on trusting God alongside the inspiring Spirit filled Rachel Issitt from Kerith Windsor who will exhort us to Rise-Up!
Megan Pillay from our Bracknell site whose passion for women gathering has brought this day into being this year (thank you Megan!) will be reminding us to move towards all God -from Running to Rising!
The Day begins at 10am on Saturday 21st June ( parking at the Bracknell College as usual) sung worship, personal stories, teaching, fun and times of prayer and chance to soak in the Spirit!
You can bring your own lunch or order a wrap and extras via our ticket site( order before Tuesday)
We have BSL interpretor’s if you’d know friends who would need this support.
If the weather is good - what about bringing camping chairs or picnic blankets? We can sit out on the grass around the Kerith centre for lunch.
Many of us are going to enjoy dressing in our national colours but come in whatever you feel comfortable wearing. Bring a pen a Bible and a journal so you don’t miss out on what God is saying to you.
Youth are welcome to attend but will need a responsible adult on site at all times.
Here’s the plan for the day
Venue: The Kerith Centre, Bracknell, RG12 1EH - Park at the Bracknell and Wokingham College unless you are a Blue Badge holder and can use our car park for the day.
Time: 10am 5pm
10-12:30 morning session - messages by Beccy Oliver + Rachel Issitt
12:30-1:45 LUNCH
1:45- 2:30 Afternoon Session 1 - message by Megan Pillay
2:30-3:00 Break
3-5:00 Afternoon Session 2 - workshop + worship/response time
