Giving at Christmas

This Christmas, we’re supporting Stop Domestic Abuse. The charity stands alongside victims and survivors of domestic abuse and stalking, offering protection, practical help and a clear path towards safety. As the commissioned provider of inclusive domestic abuse services across Hampshire, including here in Rushmoor, they offer refuge, community support, advocacy and specialist guidance for adults, children and young people. Their women-led heritage shapes services that recognise the gendered nature of abuse while ensuring that support is available to everyone who needs it. With values rooted in equality, openness, honesty, dignity and compassion, Stop Domestic Abuse works to empower people to live lives free from violence and fear. They believe that by committing to their vision and the values that underpin it, they can significantly improve the lives of those they serve. Whether your gift is large or small, it will make a real difference to the work of ‘Stop Domestic Abuse’, and to the lives they are changing.

FAQs

  • Caroline House,
    6 Invincible Rd, Farnborough
    GU14 7QU.

  • There is limited free parking all along Invincible Road on the days we meet. Please bear in mind that on Saturday 8th December this may be very busy, so give yourself plenty of time to find a suitable place to park. There are also other car parks nearby and we have a limited number of spaces, especially for guests on-site.

  • If you’d like to help make any of these events happen, please contact james.hopkin@kerith.church

James will help get you onto a serving team.

  • The entire event is free! That includes the food and drink.

However, there will be stalls selling items so you may want to bring along some money for those.

During the Christmas Experience and Christmas Day meetings we are giving opportunity to give to our named charity. You can give via contactless card if you wish, or online at anytime.

  • In short, yes! We ask people to book into the Christmas Experience to give us an idea of the expected numbers at the event. But, if you have not booked in, you are still welcome to come. Each of our venues has a capacity and once we are at capacity we will stop allowing bookings for that event, and make it known via the Kerith website that it is sold out (we make provisions for those who come without booking). You do not need to bring your e-ticket/confirmation with you on the night. However, we do advise you to only book into the event if you know that you will be attending.

  • We have a Kerith Community Church in Bracknell, Windsor, and the Isle of Wight. All of our sites will be hosting Christmas events throughout December. If you’d like to find out more, click here.

We also post weekly content on our Kerith Community Church YouTube channel.
