Belonging!
The Belonging Course
Loneliness is endemic in the UK, with 1 in 20 adults often or always feel lonely.
Those who experience loneliness can often feel unseen, unworthy, and even unwelcome. Loneliness has no regard for age, status, role or religion. But while loneliness impedes life, belonging supercharges it! And God’s desire is that we all should belong.
If you're free on a Wednesday early afternoon, why not join us at church for The Belonging Course, starting from 15th April at 12.45pm. If you feel lonely - come and find community. And if you don't feel lonely - well why not come and be community for others!
Small groups
Carrying on with the theme of belonging - we would love to create many more spaces for people to connect and build relationships with God and one another this term, as of course not everyone is available to attend The Belonging Course on a Wednesday afternoon! We would love to have more small groups running this term at various times and on various days. Weekly, fortnightly, monthly - interest groups, bible study lifegroups, meeting for prayer and fellowship - or chose one of the many courses or resources we have available on our website here. Our groups are led by volunteers, so if you’re plugged into Kerith and would consider it your home church, why not consider submitting a proposal to lead or host a small group or course. You can do that at this link HERE. Perhaps buddy up with a friend to co-lead if it seems a daunting prospect at first! Then we will prayerfully consider your proposal and be in touch with you asap.
Remember that our passion as a church is to help people find their way back to God through communities growing in their love for God and love for people. Our heart is that every person feels they truly belong - to God, to the the wider church community, and in smaller group community where they can make friendships.
