Farnborough Update: 4th Sept 2026
As we head into September, new terms beginning, back to routines and some of the more ‘regular rhythms’ in our days return - here’s what’s been happening with the building work this week, and what is coming up in church life…
What has been happening this week?
Our building works are making great progress, with preparations now underway for the new under-floor heating system. We're getting closer to warmer autumn and winter gatherings!
What’s coming up in the church?
Sunday 6th Sept - Celebration Sunday. This will be held at our Bracknell church building, but just for our Farnborough congregation, from 4-5pm. Join us as we gather to reflect on God's faithfulness over the summer and pray together for all that lies ahead. Read more and sign up HERE to let us know you're coming.
Sun 6th Sept - Sun 13th Sept - 24-7 Global Week of Prayer. Join thousands of people from across the world as we spend a week in prayer, led by our friends at 24-7 Prayer. Tap here visit our website to find out how you can take part - whether booking a slot in our virtual prayer room heading to Bracknell to pray at our in-person prayer room, or visiting our Prayer Room for families.
Sat 12th Sept - Twilight Runway Challenge. Join us as we raise money for the Farnborough Building Project, whether taking part of coming along to cheer others as they run, walk, scoot or cycle their way around the 2km, 5km and 10km course.
Sun 13th Sept - Vision Night LIVE. Join us live via the Kerith Community Church YouTube Channel from 7:30pm as we hear the latest news, updates and vision from the leaders at the church. Hearing from our Senior Pastor Simon Benham, our Executive Pastor Ben Oliver, as well as our Site Pastor Sonia Hopkin, as well as other leaders from the other Kerith sites. We’ll be hearing updates on the venues and building projects taking place, team news, as well as some plans for the upcoming season in the life of Kerith. They should also be a chance for live Q&A for those who can watch it live, or watch it back on demand in your own time.
