Teamwork

Lots has been moving forward in the building project behind the scenes and we had another workforce on site on Wednesday (25th). A fantastic team of volunteers worked in the sun to finish weeding the car park ready for it to be resurfaced. They made such a difference and it was great catching up over a wheelbarrow and hoe.

The Remaining Soft Play

As part of the refurbishment, we have retained a portion of the soft play equipment for Kerith Kids to use going forward. In order to carry out repairs in the room and for cleaning, the structure needs to be dismantled so a team were climbing up slides and unraveling netting ready for the framework to be taken down. It was very dusty work and like unpicking fabric from a giant climbing frame!

After a summer where a lot of the key stakeholders have been away, this week we are having a key meeting to solidify a timeline. My hope is that off the back of the meeting, we will have a starting date when we can meet together in the building and a plan for how we can gather in the interim. Please be praying for creativity and effective solutions so we can gather again as soon as possible!
