ALPHA YOUTH: JOURNALING THE JOURNEY
Over the past month, Kerith Bracknell Youth has been on a meaningful journey of discovery. Through our Youth Alpha gatherings, our young people have been exploring some of life’s biggest questions: Who is Jesus? Do I need a relationship with God? How do I know if I am loved by Him?
While these questions may seem familiar to many adults, for this generation they can feel complex and difficult to navigate amid the constant noise and influence of media and culture. Youth Alpha has created a safe and welcoming space where our teenagers can explore freely, ask honest questions, share openly, and encounter God personally.
There is something truly special about watching conversations unfold over snacks in a softly lit room filled with blankets, cushions, and plants. Friendships are forming, confidence is growing, and faith is taking root — with Jesus at the centre of it all. Using short videos followed by focused discussion has proven to be an engaging format, helping them relax, connect, and return each week eager for more.
As we approach the end of the course in March, we find ourselves asking, What next? One of the most encouraging outcomes has been seeing our young people express a genuine desire to continue their journey — to grow in their understanding of Scripture, encounter the Holy Spirit, and walk confidently in their faith alongside others on the same path.
To support this next step, we would love to gift each young person a Journaling Bible. These thoughtfully designed Bibles create space to write, reflect, highlight, draw, and capture prayers directly alongside Scripture — encouraging them to engage personally and creatively with God’s Word. It’s a practical and meaningful way to help them build habits that will shape their daily walk with Jesus.
As a church community at Kerith, we are committed to nurturing each young person’s faith and helping them live it out with confidence. We would be so grateful if you would consider sponsoring the cost of a Bible for one of our Youth Alpha participants, investing in the next chapter of their journey with Jesus.
