Upcoming Week of Prayer & Fasting
Mon 12th Oct - Sun 18th Oct 2026
From Monday 12th October to Sunday 18th October we are holding our next Week of Prayer and Fasting as a church - we would love for you to take part. Through the week we’ll be focussing our attention on the first 5 chapters of Joshua, which 3 of our sites have been preaching into in recent weeks.
Starting from Monday through to Friday we are taking over Simon’s blog to share a short daily devotional to help you take a moment in your day to dwell in Scripture and sit in God’s presence as he speaks with you - just a heads up that you’ll receive that into your inbox if you’re subscribed to this blog.
But there are other ways in which you can take part too…
Daily One Church Prayer Meeting - Happening online from Monday to Thursday, join us for an hour of prayer 8-9pm on Microsoft Teams. Those on Churchsuite will be emailed the link close to the time or get in touch via info@kerith.church if you didn’t receive the link.
Prayercast - Our regular Prayercast continues on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6:45am for a time of prayer, tap here to find that page.
Daily Prayer Guide - Download this free prayer guide to take you through the week, giving you thoughts, questions to ask and pray through and guidance for your prayers each day.
In-Person Gatherings - Taking place across all four locations of the church, come and join for times of prayer, worship and ministry.
Fasting - on the Prayer Page of our website you can access guidance for fasting. Whether you have fasted before or not, we encourage you give up something across the week in order to give your attention, time and energies to seeking God’s presence.
We’d love to see you at some of these moments to pray in the week. As always, we encourage everyone to pray alone everyday, pray with others once a week (or more on a week like this!), and fast monthly. The upcoming week is a great way to flex your praying muscles and to learn.
Visit the Prayer Page on our website for all the information, dates, times and details that you’ll need.
Have a great week!
The Kerith Team.
