In 2023 we’re looking forward at how we can improve our Windsor site. Here’s some of the things we’re hoping to do -
Cafe Area:
Have an accessible kitchen area downstairs for our host teams, who make and serve refreshments on Sundays and at our mid-week courses and events
• Free up the room where coffee is currently prepared so we can have another space for our Kerith kids to meet on a Sunday• Have a café which opens up to the people in our community during the week. Click here to see our initial ideas for this area
Auditorium Improvements:
Install 12m retractable drape near auditorium entrance to limit distractions during the service
• Enlarge the stage to accommodate our growing band
• Install 2x TVs in coffee area
• Move production area/desk to corner of the room
• Install an audio feed in the parent/child room and café area. Parents could then listen to the service if they need to feed babies or entertain lively children (if we have no kids work on a Sunday)
The Story so far……
Our Windsor site journey began back in 2016 as small groups attached to our Bracknell site started springing up north of the M4. Leon and Daiva Johnson had experience of church planting into West London so were excited by the opportunity to lead a new site north.
In 2017 the fledging Windsor site started meeting monthly on a Sunday afternoon in a borrowed venue but it wasn’t until we were offered the lease on the Windsor Gospel Hall further along the Dedworth Rd that Kerith Windsor started to lay down its footprint in the community.
The Gospel Hall was too small for a Sunday gathering, and after months of chasing up leads for a larger venue someone noted that directly opposite the Hall was a Chiropractors office, which just happened to have a purpose build auditorium - what an incredible answer to prayer!

Christmas at Kerith
Kerith Windsor launched weekly in September 2018 with a core group of 40 kids and adults,
In 2020 lockdown the Chiropractors moved out releasing their lease to us, another huge breakthrough for the Windsor site as this means we now have sole control of the building and can begin to create purpose-built spaces for both Sunday gatherings and midweek groups.
The heart of Kerith Windsor has always been to become a hub for social justice and community groups and projects and to grow our Sunday experience. This next phase of renovation is all about realising Gods Heart for this community, we’re excited that we can all play our part in this next adventure.

It feels like 2024 is racing away already. Before we get too far in to this year I wanted to follow on from the vision talks we had at the end of January, when we shared the hopes and plans for Kerith Windsor.
