Job Opportunity: Caretaker Role
Hello, this is Ben Oliver writing on Simon's blog. I'm covering some of Simon's responsibilities during his sabbatical and I have Simon's permission to let you know about a job opportunity we have at Kerith based in Bracknell. I promise this is not Simon infringing the strict "no blogging" rules of his sabbatical ;-) We're into the 8th week, by the way - the summer is going fast! Simon is currently in Bethel Church in Redding, California for a few days - meeting with Paul Manwaring, who preached here back in July, and other leaders and members of that church. We're certainly looking forward to hearing what God is saying to Simon during his trip and the retreat time he has lined up next. Please keep praying for him and Catrina.
I've interrupted the blog-silence to let you know about a job opportunity for which we're currently recruiting. Please see the information copied below. Whilst we're praying for the right person to fulfill the role, please also pass on the information if you think you know of someone who would be interested. Here it is:

We are looking to
recruit a full time Caretaker who will be responsible for looking after the
upkeep, maintenance and room set ups around our Bracknell Site.
Working as part of the Operations Team within the Estates Department the role
would suit somebody with previous similar experience who is passionate about
all we do as a Church and enabling our ministries by supporting them in
maintaining the highest standards of our facilities. If this sounds like an opportunity for you or
anyone you know who is looking for a change and a challenge, then we would love
to hear from you.
Application packs (which include a detailed Job Description) are available from
the Kerith Centre reception. If you need any more information, please
email Gary Scull, our Estates Controller at gary.scull@kerith.co.uk or Ali
Hudell, the Human Resources Manager at ali.hudell@kerith.co.uk
The
closing date for all applications is Wednesday the 26th August,
with interviews anticipated in early September.
Thank you,
Ben
