Parenting… its tough, but there’s help!
This week some of our Kerith parents are launching a new initiative … read on!
Parents & Carers … Let’s be honest, parenting is hard, especially as Christians trying to navigate the current constantly changing culture. Doing life alongside other families, with children at the same stage or slightly ahead definitely helps, but sometimes we face things that we don’t feel others understand.
If you are struggling with parenting or education or just feel you need to be held in prayer, we want to stand with you, to pray for you, to encourage and support you. Whether you face long term challenges or are just in a difficult season, we would love to offer you prayer.
Prayer sessions
We have gathered a team of parents and grandparents, including foster carers & adopters, as well as parents of children with special needs who would love to pray for you and encourage you.
We will be praying for parents of children aged 0-11 years old on Sunday 25th October after the 9:30am service in K2 Room 1 (the first room on the left).
And praying for parents of children aged 11+ on Sunday 22nd November after the 9:30am service in the Unleashed Lounge.
Whatever you share at these prayer sessions will be kept private, but if there are concerns about anyone’s welfare, then this will be passed to our Safeguarding Lead.
If you would prefer to talk to someone privately or for a longer period of time, then please fill out our parent support survey Kerith Bracknell Parent / Carer Support Survey – Fill out form and we will get in touch with you to arrange this.
Further support
We would love to know how else we can help you. If you would like someone to talk to at another point or would like further support or training please complete this survey so we know how to help you going forward: Kerith Bracknell Parent / Carer Support Survey – Fill out form
