Week of Prayer 22-27th Feb

Across all four Kerith sites, we are stepping into a Week of Prayer and Fasting in 2 weeks time. Praying for ourselves, the communities we represent, and the world around us.
Join in!

Sunday 22nd Feb - Friday 27th Feb

We are giving our attention across the week to the Isaiah 54 passage that Simon Benham our Senior Pastor has brought to us this year…

“Clear lots of ground for your tents.
Make your tents large. Spread out. Think big.
Use plenty of rope, drive the tent pegs deep.
You’re going to need lots of elbow room for your growing family.”

Enlarging, Lengthening and Strengthening our faith...

  • Sunday 22nd Feb Selah Sunday
The week begins with a Selah Sunday, which is the Hebrew word for PAUSE, join with us to worship and pray together.

  • Mon 23rd -Thursday 26th Feb 8-9pm One Church Prayer Zooms
Through the week we will have Zoom prayer meetings with all our sites from 8-9pm to pray through our theme Enlarge, lengthen, Strengthen. ( Zoom link will be posted on our www.kerith.church/prayer page and we’ll blog it in the week).

  • Thursday 26th Feb 10-11:45 Drop in Prayer Space at Midweek Connect
Come on down to our Midweek community gathering and take yourself round the Prayer stations set up around the auditorium in the morning before we head into Lunchtime Lectio.

  • Thursday 26th Feb 12-12:20pm Lunchtime Lectio
A reflective 20 min meeting in the auditorium led from the front to give you space to slow down over lunch and concentrate on Jesus, including communion together.

  • Thursday 26th Feb 8-9:30pm Worship + Prayer Night

In person worship + prayer night, we will meet together from 8pm- 9:30pm at the Kerith Centre to practice the ‘Presence of God’ together in worship and prayer as a Bracknell community.

We also want to pray into our town so be on the look out for our Prayer walk PDF with a Prayer Trail around the town you can use it as an individual, with family or your small group during the week! We’ll send it out in the week!

And finally, consider fasting in some way….

Visit kerith.church/prayer, read the guide, find all the info you need about the week of prayer and fasting, and choose a healthy way to take part.
