Come join us this Christmas!

This year as a church, we have been focusing on Breathing In and Breathing Out.

Breathing IN the presence of God when we gather on Sundays and in our smaller group gatherings mid week.

And Breathing OUT the presence of God to those we work, live and interact with.

As followers of Jesus we know that Jesus is as essential to our life as breathing is - and we don’t want to keep Him to ourselves – we want to share Him with others!

Well this Christmas, we have a fantastic opportunity to Breathe Out at our Christmas Experience on Sunday 14th December. We have animals, free hot dogs and festive drinks, activities for all ages and a beautiful carol service to enjoy aswell, where people will hear a gospel message.

The Christmas Experience is not something we plan for us - it’s not for those who call Kerith our home – it’s planned with our wider community in mind. Those who we know, love and share life with outside of church - and also for those we don’t know as well (yet!) who live in the areas near our church.

I’m assuming you may be reading this because you have decided that Kerith is the place you want to call home. Well ,why not join us in making the Christmas Experience great success!

One again we have two sessions to chose from;

  • If you have younger children, you may wish to attend the first one. Arrive from 4pm for the activities and then enjoy the Carol Service at 5pm which will have some elements that involve and engage children.

  • Or, come to the later session - arrive from 6pm for a 7pm Carol Service - children are still welcome of course, but it’ll be a little less geared up for them.

We are asking everyone this year to breathe out and to invite to one – serve at one

Be thinking – who can I invite? Take a postcard and gift to invite a neighbour, co-worker, the person who serves you in the supermarket. Book their free tickets here (and don’t forget to book your own - please don’t leave it to the last minute!)

Also be thinking – how and where can I serve? We need you to make this a success. Without an army of volunteers, it simply can’t happen. So please sign up to serve at one of the sessions here, and someone will be in touch in a couple of weeks.

There will also be opportunities for us to continue to Breathe In. With our regular Sunday morning meetings (apart from on 14th December!) and our other Christmas gatherings - please head to our website to find out more (please note for most other events you can just turn up, but please prebook if you plan to attend our ladies Deck the Halls evening!)

At Christmas time we have an amazing opportunity to share the love of Jesus, to share the message of Jesus, to share the hope we have in Jesus. Let’s not keep Him all to ourselves!
